Bath time with Dad- I know I have said this before but I LOVE the way Bronson looks at his dad. He lights up when his dad is in the room. He loves bath time and this is Nicks time of to spend with him when he gets home for work. Maybe not the best chore for him but I love that, that is “their” time to spend together each night.
Eating like Kings and Queens- We really don’t eat out all that much anymore so when we do it is pretty exciting! Oh how our life has changed!! We had some family time and went to eat at Rubio’s. The best part… we both ate for free because we had $10 coupons for each of us!! Now that is eating like a King and a Queen!
More teething- something HAS to explain the interrupted sleep I am getting every night!! I have yet to see evidence of a new tooth but this cures his pain of whatever sort he seems to be feeling!
Ornament Tradition- This (among a few others) is my FAVORITE Christmas ornament. My Grandma Curtis has a fabulous tradition for all of the grandkids. Every year since we were little we have received an ornament that would be ours to take with us when we start our own families. My mom has now started this tradition for her grandkids. All of the kids in my family get so excited for this present, possibly more than any other present!!
I remember one year a LONG time ago. This little treasure chest broke. It hangs by the lid of the chest and the lid detached. I was so heartbroken by this that my mom worked so hard to fix it. I had to sit on the branch of the tree that year instead of hang but she managed to fix it and I always remember that story every year when I pull it out to put on the tree!
Christmas Traditions- We have been celebrating a few of our “Curtis” family traditions early this year. That includes the gifts! Inside… my gift for my parents!!
Did I mention- that Bronson is starting a new thing of waking up in the middle of the night (because of teething… I thought) and I’m really tired. Here is the result of having to wake up twice in the middle of the night and forgetting to change Bronson’s diaper. He was soaking wet and needed some new bottoms!!
Chipmunk- We call Bronson the little Chipmunk when he eats because he tries to put as much food in his mouth at one time and stores it all in the side of his cheek until he can get to it.
Out of Control- I guess he knows what he is doing but I should NOT have to worry about this happening with anyone for a LONG time. He could not get enough of that window. Poor kid doesn’t even know what he is really doing!!
I {love} you Dad- This is the sweetest picture to me. Nick was fixing something in the shower and I walked into the bathroom to find Bronson had crawled in there and was just watching his dad work. I love how little boys just love their daddy’s so much!
Obsessed- with scrapbooking paper! I have an insane amount of scrapbooking paper and probably not even close to the amount some digi scrabookers have. I love finding a new kit and having a whole new boost of excitement to put together more pages. I printed my first digital scrapbook and I am so WOW’d by it that it has really pushed all of my other projects into overdrive!
Lists and more lists- I don’t know if I will ever understand why I let my list build up until it’s so full I don’t know when I will accomplish everything. One thing being blogging…. I was 18 post behind on my 365 blog and I am currently 3 post behind on our family blog. I feel that I work better under pressure but one day I hope I will learn that it is easier just to get things accomplished one day at a time instead of putting things off!! I sure do feel accomplished though when the task at hand is finally complete!
A little Christmas Cheer- I love having all of my Christmas decorations out. I love that every time I walk by a different area there is something sitting out that makes me smile. I love my little snowmen and this new Joy sign makes the whole counter look that much more cheerful!
Because- I didn’t feel like it. I love staying at home, don’t get me wrong but sometimes I just don’t feel like picking stuff up! The fact that I do the same thing over and over again every single day can get a little old. This day, I just didn’t feel like picking up right away. Eventually it started to bug me but it felt great to let it just sit for a little while!!
Be Grateful- I had a simple reminder of all of the things that I can really take for granted in a day, that can all change in an instant. I have so many things to be grateful for. My family has been extremely blessed and I hope to always remember that!
It’s beginning to look smell a LOT like Christmas- since it has been in the 70’s this week and it’s not looking like Christmas I have definitely made it smell like Christmas!!
Bring on the Holidays- My mom made these adorable Advent Calendars for the girls in my family and gave them to us early to be able to use for the month of December. She worked so hard on these for about a month and a half straight. It definitely paid off, she did an amazing job! We are going to love this addition to our holiday decorations for years to come! Thanks Mom!
Where has the time gone…- I can’t believe we have already been living in Arizona for a year! Time is flying and we are well adjusted here. Loving Sunny Arizona!!
Am I doing something wrong??- Can you see the look in his eyes? He doesn’t care that he isn’t supposed to be doing this but he is doing it anyways!! Please tell that eventually he will listen to me!!
Oh My Son- He can get wedged into any little corner he wants to!! I find him behind the rocking chair with all kinds of books and his little elephant that he sleeps with just having his alone time. You really do make me laugh my little babe!!
My fave- Oh how I love Cream of Corn! It is one thing that I hold on tight to and I DON’T share my leftovers!!

Happy Day to You- I {heart} this picture! My fabulous husband and Bronson’s amazing daddy had his 29th Birthday!! We celebrated by going to a baseball game and ordered in for dinner. I ruined the party by getting sick!! I dislike colds… Happy Birthday Nickolas, we LOVE you!!
Mad about something- He is so much like me and his dad, he HATES to be told what to do!! This little monster has a serious obsession with the diapers and he was very upset I was telling him NO!
Boy Zone- My son is such a blessing to me in so many ways. He has taught me so much that I would not be able to learn without his sweet face! I can say that I have chilled out a LOT in the last 6 months and learned to start letting things go! It’s about dang time that I have started to figure that out!! I am by no means “normal” still when it comes to being a fanatic about my home but I’m getting better. Day by day!!
I {heart} you- This little boy makes me laugh on a daily basis! He is always under my feet, wondering what I’m doing and right there ready to dive into the fridge as soon as it opens!!
