Day Twenty

Homemade Lunch of the Year- Creamed Corn, Chicken & Rice Casserole AND A&W Cream Soda... I have been staying home for coming up on a year now and I've never had a homemade lunch like this (granted it was leftovers but I normally don't eat leftovers)!! I think this lunch deserves an award!! While is doesn't sound healthy it is definitely delicious!! These are three of my favorite things and 100x better than what I normally have for lunch i.e. Corndogs, Top-A-Ramen, Grilled Cheese, Cheese Quesadilla you name what you ate in college and I probably have it for lunch now!! I need to eat like this more often!

Day Nineteen

Mischievous- If there is one thing that Nick and I have to always pull Bronson away from it is these DVD cases. My visiting teachers came over the other day and one of the ladies brought her girls with her. Her daughter pointed at the 'King of Queens' DVD case (shaped like a delivery truck) and asked "Is that his toy to play with??" So... I guess that is our fault for having something sitting out that looks like a toy but clearly is NOT a toy!!

Day Eighteen

It's Raining, It's Pouring...- It was another rainy day in Arizona today and this time Bronson was able to enjoy the thunderstorm through the window! We still are not tired of seeing the rain!!

Day Seventeen

Through A Mothers' Eyes- As I was laying on the floor watching Bronson play with his toys I was overcome with joy. This is something I think all mothers' can relate to and appreciate. There is just something about your child that to you, makes them perfect! I feel so rewarded as I watch him learn and grow. What a blessing children are to our lives and our families! I feel so lucky to have this experience and I hope to never take it for granted.

Day Sixteen

I Want To Help Too- This is my son every time someone is in the kitchen!! We have resorted to a baby gate to block him from the kitchen, it's a death trap otherwise!! You can see it in his eyes "All I want to do is help..." Today, he was watching his dad cook dinner! I {love} these days!!!

Day Fifteen

Photo captured by Dad
Peek-A-Boo- Bronson learned how to find himself in the mirror on his exersaucer!! Cutest thing ever... he was playing Peek-A-Boo with the himself!

Day Fourteen

Photo captured by Dad

Taking Time Out- I love these special moments throughout the day. Tonight, in the midst of picking up the house from the day, cooking and cleaning the kitchen, feeding Bronson & bath time I stopped to spend a minute with my little boy! These babies grow up so fast it's these little moments that mean so much!

Day Thirteen

Tuned Out- Bronson usually gets to watch one of his movies with his morning breakfast bottle. Sometimes it tends to stay on as we are walking around doing stuff (by this I mean Me walking around doing stuff and Bronson crawling around following me!) and even as we are feeding him his morning snack before his nap. After all of the chores are done and I've put Bronson down for his nap I come to the couch, pull out my laptop, check blogs etc. As I am starting to do my Day Twelve for 365 I notice I am still watching his movie!! I have learned to be really good at tuning stuff out so in my mind I hear silence!! Silence is bliss to me and tuning things out is one of the many ways I survive each day!!

Day Twelve

Sunday, Sunday- Sunday is my day to just let things go. I wash my sheets on Sunday mornings and don't make my bed until just before I'm ready to go to sleep. Here is a glimpse into what the rest of my house looks like on a Sunday! I feel like it is important for me to have one day that I don't have to keep up on everything. It is a day to relax and just enjoy my family.

Today was our Ward Conference at church and we got to listen to our Stake President bare his testimony at the end of Sunday School. He mentioned something that stuck out to me "Just let it go" he was speaking about letting things go in the sense that we should not hold grudges, etc. It was something I needed to hear but in more then just that one meaning. I am a person that needs to always have things in order. The clutter needs to be put away and everything needs to be organized. I tend to get frustrated when there is confusion around me. Having a child has started to change that which I am happy about! I find that there are times I actually struggle more now that I have Bronson than I did when it was just Nick and I but I am getting better! Even though it feels like it is hard to get anything out of church these days because I am always in and out of class with Bronson there is always something to learn. "Just Let It Go!"

Day Ten

Enjoy The Little Things-Bronson is such a trooper putting up with his mommy and her new found passion for photography! It's almost like pictures consume my life now and he is always in them!! I think about pictures in my sleep! Every time I look at something or see Bronson doing anything I think "That would be such a cute picture!!" I should mention that Nick is a trooper too!! He is either in the picture (which he isn't a fan of) or being told "Hurry, get the camera!"
I {love} my boys!
Thanks for putting up with my obsession!!

Day Nine

Ring The Bell- We try to have a lunch date with Daddy once a week and today we went to Arbys! Bronson asked if he could ring the bell on our way out and we couldn't refuse! He loved it!!

Day Eight

Baby Victory- This is exactly how excited Bronson gets when he sees or hears me making his bottle. It's always a good thing to make your child work for things right?? I put the bottle in the middle of the room where I want him to eat and it is a victory every time he reaches the bottle!! Love this boy!! Can't you just see the determination in his eyes!!

Day Seven

Rain, Rain- Oh how I love you when I don't have to drive in you!! I never thought the day would come when I actually got excited to see a rainy, overcast day!! These are definitely days to look forward to when you live in sunny Arizona!! When I hear the rain starting to come down outside I get an instant smile on my face!!

Day Five

Can I play with your toys??-

Dear Beck,
Happy Birthday!! Would you mind if I played with your toys too?
Thanks,
Your Cousin Bronson

Today was our nephew Beck's 1st Birthday!! Bronson, Nick and I went down to Tuscon to celebrate his big day with my family!!! Bronson was more than happy to help open presents and even play with them if the birthday boy didn't mind (which he didn't)!! The two boys played so well together and this marks a special day for these cousins!!! It has taken almost a whole year to get them to the same level to be able to play nice with each other!! It made mommy and Aunt Beth very excited!!! Happy Birthday Beckster!! Love Aunt Lindsey, Uncle Nick & Cousin Bronson!!

Day Four

My First Time- to ever ride a carousal and I did it with my mommy! I didn't hate it and I didn't love it but I think I liked it and I really had fun!! My daddy stood outside and took lots and lots of pictures of me as I went round and round on the carousal. When the carousal started moving I grabbed the bar in front of me real tight and clinched my feet on the horsey to make sure I didn't fall. Mommy held me tight too. It was a good first time!!

Day Three

We made it- on our first official trip since we moved to Arizona! The portable DVD player is heaven sent for our little boy!! We have yet to accomplish a 1.5 or 3 hr day trip to see family without any major freak outs because he wants OUT of his car seat. Well today we survived a 6 hr trip to Vegas with NO FREAK OUTS!! Wahoo!! Thank you DVD player!! This is a major accomplishment!! On another note I have spent all day trying to take the perfect Vegas picture for my photo of the day and I finally captured the BEST one and it turned out blurry when I pulled it up on the computer!! My poor son has been such a trooper today. He survived the day with a total of about a 1 hour nap until we were ending our walk on the strip and we both look down at the stroller to see Bronson passed out in the noisy casino. Totally tuckered out!! Instead of posting that picture, being blurry and all, I decided to post this one in front of New York New York. I love it and I thought it was so unique!!

Day Two

LOL- Most days I mock the acronym "LOL" but today I found myself honestly Laughing Out Loud! If this wasn't just ONE photo a day I would have posted a picture of the messy condition of my house right now too! We are packing to go out of town and well you all know how that goes! Somehow Bronson went from happy-go-lucky to PUT ME TO BED NOW MOM in .5 seconds! Part of our routine is to feed him his table food before he goes down for each nap or bedtime. Well today he would have nothing to do with food (surprising, I know!) We had a mess with the food, a cranky baby and a frustrated mama!! The story ends like this.... Bronson in bed crying himself to sleep with no breakfast. Me sitting on the couch trying to cool off my frustration. Bronson quiet now because he cried himself to sleep and me laughing out loud about the whole situation because I think it is the only way mom's can deal with crazy situations on a daily basis!!
Just laugh about it!!

Day One

Determined- I am setting a goal by starting my Project 365. I am determined to learn more about Photoshop, I am determined to learn more about my camera AND I am determined to get back into scrapbooking! I hope you don't get sick of being with us for threehundredandsixtyfive days but I am so excited to see in a year what I have learned. I am excited to use this as a journaling tool to document our lives in a snapshot a day for a whole year!
